Oh yes…winter has arrived.
And (in case you hadn’t checked your calendar today) December has arrived as well! Somebody bring me hot cocoa, stat!
In honor of December, I’ve decided to pose a fitness challenge to myself–and to you guys–for the month.
I don’t know about you, but the one workout I despise more than any other is burpees. Those suckers are HARD. I’ve never met anyone who enjoys them, though they’re finally getting some loving from the Crossfit-ers of the world. More power to ya, Crossfit folks! If you haven’t had the, uh, “pleasure” of trying burpees, here is a great tutorial video:
Naturally I chose to pick this most hated workout and create my December challenge. Masochism or determination? The world may never know.
And so, I present to you:

By December 31st, the goal is to be able to complete 100 burpees in under 10 minutes.
I’ll be updating you throughout the month with my Decemburpees progress, so feel free to join in on the challenge–the more the merrier!

I actually love burpees, crazy right??! Until a month ago, I HATED them but after joining CrossFit, they are always my favorite part of the WOD.
